Policies and Guidelines

We have established the following 38 Special Luxury RV Resort guidelines to help ensure your safety and enjoyment while in our park. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our resort without any form of refund.

Speed Limit

10 mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests.

Quiet time

11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Site occupancy

Only one (1) RV is allowed per campsite.

Rv requirements

All Rvs Must Be 30 Feet In Length And In Like-new Condition (Not Older Than 10 Years

Tree Cutting Is Prohibited.

Accessory Structures

No tents or pop-ups.

smoking

Bathhouse on the resort are smoke-free. Please properly dispose of cigarettes in a designated receptable, NOT ON THE GROUND.

Site Maintainence

Please maintain your rv site in a clean and attractive manner. All trash, bottles, and cans must be properly and regularly disposed of while you are a guest in the resort. Trash pickup is daily at 9 a.M. Do not leave trash out overnight.

Children

Guests are responsible for all behavior of their children. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older.  And can be with guest from the hours of 8:00 am till 8:00 pm in the RV portion of the resort.

Safety After Dark

To ensure safety after dark, please carry a flashlight. No biking or scooter riding after dark.

campfires:

Campfires are only permitted in provided fire pits.

Portable grills

Any type of grill or smoker is allowed at the RV sites. You are only allowed one on your site.

Storage sheds

Are not allowed.

Clotheslines

Not permitted! Drying racks attached to RVs are permitted on a temporary basis. Please take towels and swimsuits down when dry. Laundry facilities are available for your convenience.

Fireworks and firearms

Prohibited on park property. This includes BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns.

Pets

Keep on leashes (6-foot maximum length) or inside, and do not leave unattended. No excessive barking allowed. Pets must be walked by a responsible person to pick up droppings after them IMMEDIATELY. Pets are not allowed in or near any buildings or bathrooms. They are prohibited due to health codes. A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed per lot site.

Pool Areas

No lifeguard is on duty. Children under the age 18 are not allowed in pool by shower houses.  They can use beach area as long as accompanied by a member.  Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner will be removed from the area. The Phase 2 pool (behind shop building) is an family friendly pool and may be use by all guest. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS ALLOWED.

Visitors

Your visitors are always welcome at 38 Special. Visitors are expected to read and adhere to all resort guidelines.

Recreational vehicles

All battery-operated vehicle or motor-driven vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s license while driving on the resort property. All bikes, scooters, golf carts, and drivable, motorized machines are to be operated under the laws and regulations of Missouri, and with respect to all guests/visitors of the resort.  Golf carts can be use on the resort but must purchase a yearly pas

Vehicle repairs

Vehicle repairs are not permitted in the park. You can check local listings for businesses that provide these services.

RV Washing

You are permitted to wash your RV.

Violation of these guidelines

Grounds for ejection from the park without refunds of any type.

Forms of payment

We accept all major credit cards, cash, money orders, cashier’s checks, ACH, and personal checks.

Other guidelines

Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by state law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer drain. Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.
